Grade 6A — the highest silk classification
Not all mulberry silk is equal. Silk is graded A–C, then 3A through 6A. Most pillowcases on the market use 4A or 5A. The Belle uses Grade 6A — the longest, most uniform fibres available — which means less pilling, no dulling, and a consistently smooth surface that protects hair and skin every night.
Why it outperforms cotton and satin
Cotton creates microscopic friction as you sleep, pulling at hair cuticles and compressing skin — the cause of hair breakage, frizz, and sleep creases. Polyester satin mimics the look of silk but offers none of the benefits. As a natural protein fibre, Mulberry silk reduces friction, regulates temperature, and doesn't absorb moisture from your skin the way cotton does.
